I recently went to Westlight and had an amazing time. The view of Manhattan from the rooftop bar was breathtaking and definitely added to the overall experience. Even though I’m not a big fan of alcohol, I decided to try one of their cocktails and was very pleased with my lavender drink. The waitress was super friendly and patient with us as we took in the scenery. Watching the sunset and the nighttime view of Manhattan after dark was truly unforgettable. While we didn’t try any entrees, the food we did have (octopus, hamburger, and ribs) was all delicious. Our waiter, Tyler, was exceptional and checked on us frequently. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Located at 4 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, Berry Park is a German-accented barroom that offers an impressive European beer list and an expansive rooftop. This barroom has become a popular spot in the area because of its great staff, awesome environment, good music, and stunning view of McCarren Park across the street.
As a resident of Greenpoint, I had the pleasure of frequenting Berry Park. I was even lucky enough to capture a proposal outside the bar in 2020. While it would have been great to have the proposal on the rooftop, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we ended up taking photos in McCarren Park which was just across the street. The staff at Berry Park was fantastic, especially Micah, who was the best bartender ever! Thanks to Micah, our party had a blast. The music and atmosphere were on point, and the view was breathtaking. Sadly, not all the drinks were great; the margaritas were quite terrible. Regardless of that, the rooftop experience and the amazing service provided by the staff make Berry Park a must-visit.

The hotel’s lobby was beautifully decorated with exquisite details, and the rooftop was ingeniously designed to attract many people. The views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan, and even the Statue of Liberty were priceless. The Asian food served here was fresh and perfectly done. I enjoyed the salmon avocado roll, salmon fried rice, watermelon & cucumber salad, and side chicken. However, the service was incredibly slow.
