I also enjoyed the kid-friendly environment which made the food an absolute hit with my young kids. But, the service was inconsistent. Our server at first, Yanet, provided fantastic service and did all she could to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. However, when we returned to the restaurant on a different day and had Vicky to serve us our experience was entirely different. Vicky was unfriendly, rude and was more interested in rearranging the table rather than offering good service. Despite the poor service, I believe that the Skylight Diner is a great spot to grab for a bite, but be sure you stay clear of Vicky when you’re looking to enjoy a fun time.

The service was courteous and helpful and added to the overall experience. Also, the fact the restaurant is pet-friendly was a major positive for us. I strongly recommend the mac and cheese platter as well as the salmon BLT however, I would steer clear of the meatloaf due the excessive amount of fillers.
